Hawaii '10

When I was in 3rd grade, my aunt and uncle took a two week vacation to Hawaii. My uncle is a photograph who loves to take pictures of landscapes. When they returned, my uncle show me all the pictures he had taken. I immediately knew I visit Hawaii. After a lot of begging over the years, my dad surprised me on Christmas with a two week trip to Hawaii. Over the course of two weeks, I visited the islands of Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. Below are some picture of my trip:

Hawaiin Luau. Performed on the island of Oahu.

Only active volcano still left in the Hawaiian Islands. Located on the main island of Hawaii.

The Helicopter I took a tour on while on the island of Kauai.

Waterfalls on the island of Kauai.

Magnificent Mountains on the Na Pali Coast line. Island of Kauai.

Pearl Harbor. Located on the island of Oahu.

France!

Last April I had the privilege of traveling to Europe with a group of 20 students from my high school. We were gone a total of two full weeks. The majority of our time in Europe was spent in France. We also visited Italy, Monaco, and England but I will talk about those places at a later time. While in France, we toured many of the major attractions. Of course, the first thing we visited was the Eiffel Tower.

We spent about 2 hours standing in line waiting for our turn to take the elevator up the tower. We were only able to go as high as the 2nd level because the 3rd level was under construction. The view from the 2nd level was breathe taking. I can only imagine what it would have looked like from the very top. Have you ever been to the very top of the tower? What was your experience like?

Some of the other attractions I visited during my time in France were:
Touring Versailles
Visiting the Pere Lachaise Cemetery
Walked to the top of the Notre Dame Catherdrale
Visited Nice, France
Traveled from Northern France to Southern France on the TGV
Walked along the Mediterranean Beach
Explored old castles
And much, much more!

Here are some pictures I took throughout my trip
                                                                      Versailles

                                                           Oscar Wilde's Grave Site

One of the old castles we explored

This is a picture of the group I traveled to France with.

                                                                    Nice, France
If you have any questions for me about my experiences feel free to ask! I would love to share more of my experiences and learn about adventures you had while traveling abroad.

I'm thinking about taking a family trip to the beautiful city of Quebec this summer. Any recommendations on fun things to do there in the summer?

Australia's Sydney Harbor Bridge

Doesn't this look amazing? I found this picture of the Sydney Harbor Bridge while researching vacation spots online. This is definitely going on my list on places I need to visit. Has anyone ever been here? What were your experiences?

My First Trip to Disney

I am told my love for traveling began at a very young age. I was three years old the first time I ever traveled. I spent two full weeks in Disney World with my family exploring the different parks and meeting all the Disney characters. Although I have no recollection of this, the many photos I have of myself with the Disney characters indicate that I was having the time of my life.

I was never one of those kids who is deathly afraid of costume characters. In fact, I was the complete opposite! I LOVED the characters. My mom likes to tell the story of when I held on to Donald Duck's tail and cried because I did not want to leave. I have often wondered why so many kids are afraid of costume characters. They are friendly and extremely lovable. What kid would not like that?

I have sense been to Disney four times. How many times have you been?  :)
